Harassing Dogs For Sexual Satisfaction, British Crocodile Handlers Imprisoned For 10 Years

JAKARTA - A crocodile handler named Adam Britton, 53, was sentenced to 10 years in prison on charges of attraction to animals or bestiality causing a number of dogs to be abused, tortured to death.

The verdict against the British zoologist was read out by the panel of judges in a courtroom in Australia on Thursday, August 7 local time.

At the same time, Britton wrote a letter of regret for what he had done to the dogs and was ready to take responsibility for what his lawyer read in the courtroom.

The allegations addressed to former BBC and National Geographic employees have also been acknowledged in September 2022.

"I deeply regret the pain and trauma I cause in innocent animals," he said in a letter dated July 16 seen by NBC News, Thursday 9 August.

In addition to dozens of bestialities and atrocities towards animals, Britton is also accused of possession of child abuse material.

Australia's Northern Territory Supreme Court (MA) said Britton recorded a video of himself torturing dogs to death then sharing them online under pseudonyms.

From November 2020 to April 2022, Britton was proven to be tortured, sexually exploiting for his sadistic pleasure with 42 dogs, 39 of whom were deliberately murdered.

Australian Supreme Court chief Michael Grant said in a previous hearing, Britton received "pure pleasure" while torturing animals.
