East Jakarta City Government Will Unload Walls Closing Citizens' Road Access In Kramat Jati
The access road for residents who were isolated due to closed walls in Gang Jati, RW 09, Kramat Jati District, East Jakarta, was finally responded by the East Jakarta City Government by conducting a mediation process.
"In the implementation of mediation, it has been agreed that in the land rights there is a social function. Pak Sidik is pleased to provide it with this social function. God willing, tomorrow the wall will be dismantled by fellow kelurahan," said Acting Camat Kramatjati, Kamal Alatas to reporters, Wednesday, August 7.
The process of dismantling the road access for residents' houses which are closed by the walls will be demolished on Thursday, August 8, tomorrow. The demolition will be carried out at 09.00 WIB.
Kramatjati District provides education and regulations to the land owner with the initials S. After hearing an explanation from the sub-district, S also received the mediation process which was attended by the land owner and local residents.
"Alhamdulillah Pak Sidik has also received it, on the basis of social interests and the public interest, he will open the wall," he said.
However, the demolition of the wall that will be carried out is only for one area of the residents' access road wall.

This case began to emerge after amateur video footage circulated viral on social media. Video footage of two residents' houses on Jalan Jati RT 09/RW 09, Cililitan Village, Kramat Jati, East Jakarta, was closed with a 2.5 meter high wall by the land owner.
