Police Say There Are No Criminal Indications In The Waria Contest At The Orchardz Sawah Besar Hotel, Central Jakarta
JAKARTA - Kapolsek Sawah Besar Kompol Dhanar Dhono Vernandhie ensured that there was no criminal element related to the transgender beauty contest which was held at the Orchardz Hotel, Sawah Besar District, Central Jakarta.
"There are no criminal indications. No, no crime was found," said Kompol Dhanar to VOI, Wednesday, August 7, afternoon.
After checking, Kompol Dhanar confirmed that the activity was held at the Orchardz Hotel, Sawah Besar. His party has also held a follow-up meeting of a viral video on social media related to a transgender contest in Central Jakarta.
"It is true that these activities were carried out on Sunday at around four o'clock in the Orchardz hotel. The participants were colleagues from the transpuan community," he said.

The Sawah Besar police chief also confirmed that his party had never issued a permit and had never received the crowd permit request.
"The examination material will be carried out by the Head of Satpol PP. Earlier, during the meeting we submitted it to Pak Purba and it will be followed up by Pak Purba (Kasatpol PP Central Jakarta)," he said.
However, as many as 5 witnesses have been asked for further information.
"We from the National Police followed up by checking the crime scene with the Danramil. We conducted an examination of 5 people related to these activities," he said.
