Islamic Organizations Ask The DKI Jakarta Provincial Government To Immediately Take Action On The EO Organizing The Waria Contest In Central Jakarta
JAKARTA - One of the Islamic community organizations (Ormas) urges the Police to take firm action against those suspected of providing facilities for the implementation of transgender beauty pageants or transgender contests.
One of the Islamic organizations that urged the National Police to immediately intervene in handling the transgender beauty pageant case is the Central Leadership Council (DPP) of the Islamic Brotherhood Front (FPI).
"Hotel members must be responsible for the implementation of these activities, it is mandatory because it is held at his location," said Chairman of the DPP Islamic Brotherhood Front (FPI) for Advocacy, Azis Yanuar to VOI, Wednesday, August 7.
In addition, the DPP FPI also demanded the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government to immediately take firm action against the Orchardz Hotel, Sawah Besar, Central Jakarta.
"We also demand the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government to take action against the hotel and organizers or the EO in question," he said.

Previously, it was reported that the Central Jakarta Metro Police Satreskrim could not confirm any criminal entanglement for the organizing committee at a transgender or transgender beauty contest held at the Orchardz hotel, Sawah Besar, Central Jakarta.
The reason is that the Central Jakarta Metro Police are still conducting an in-depth investigation regarding the event which was held on Sunday, August 4.
"An in-depth investigation will be carried out with the DKI Jakarta Satpol PP," said Central Jakarta Metro Police Chief, Kombes Susatyo Purnomo Condro to VOI, Tuesday, August 6.
Kombes Susatyo added that in the near future his party will conduct an examination of the organizing committee and the hotel related to the illegal ware contest event.
"An inspection will be carried out. The contest event does not have any permission," he said.
