There Is No Agreement Yet, PAN Says Cawagub Dedi Mulyadi Is Still Being Discussed By The Chairmans Of KIM

JAKARTA - Secretary General of the DPP of the National Mandate Party (PAN) Eddy Soeparno emphasized that there has been no agreement in the Forward Indonesia Coalition (KIM) regarding the figure of a candidate for deputy governor (cawagub) who will accompany Dedi Mulyadi in the West Java Pilkada.

This was said by Eddy in response to the statement by the daily chairman of the Gerindra Party DPP, Sufmi Dasco Ahmad, who said that KIM had agreed to hand over the West Java cawagub issue to the Golkar Party.

According to Eddy, political parties in KIM are still discussing who will accompany Dedi Mulyadi. Including other parties that will join KIM Plus.

"In the end, it will be discussed together among the Ketum KIM Plus," said Eddy when confirmed, Tuesday, August 6.

So far, PAN has encouraged its cadres such as former Bogor Mayor Aria Bima and DPR member Desy Ratnasari to have a duet with Dedi Mulyadi in the West Java gubernatorial election.

Nevertheless, Eddy ensured that KIM would remain united in the 2024 West Java Pilkada. Whoever the cawagub was chosen to be Dedi Mulyadi's partner based on the agreement of the general chairman

"The joint impact. Later (Paslon) will be officially announced by KIM," he concluded.

Previously, the Daily Chair of the Gerindra Party DPP, Sufmi Dasco Ahmad, stated that the Forward Indonesia Coalition (KIM) had agreed to carry its cadre, Dedi Mulyadi as a candidate for governor in the West Java Pilkada. Regarding his assistant, Dasco emphasized that KIM submitted the decision on the name of the deputy governor candidate (cawagub) to the Golkar Party.

There are two names of candidates for Dedi's companion, namely the Chairperson of the Java I Regional Election of the Golkar Party, Agun Gunandjar Sudarsa and the wife of the former Governor of West Java, Atalia Praratya.

"We have submitted it to the Golkar Party. Later, of course, it is up to the Golkar Party, whether it will advance which cadres, and we are still waiting before we announce it to the public," said Dasco at the Parliament Complex, Senayan, Jakarta, Tuesday, August 6.

Dasco said that the Golkar Party has not yet deposited the name of the West Java cawagub in the KIM meeting. He emphasized that KIM also agreed that the name cawagub would be fully submitted to Golkar.

"Not yet. For West Java to be handed over to Golkar, it has been agreed by KIM," said Dasco.
