Police Arrest 9 Teenagers With Sajam From Two Groups In West Jakarta

West Jakarta Metro Police arrested 9 teenage brawlers equipped with sharp weapons from two different locations.

In addition to arresting 9 teenagers, the police also confiscated sharp weapons in the form of 5 sickle blades and 2 arrows carried by the teenagers.

Head of Samapta Polres Metro West Jakarta, AKBP M. Hari Agung Julianto said the first 6 youth groups were arrested in the Cosmos area, Kedoya, Kebon Jeruk District, on Sunday, August 4, at around 03.00 WIB.

From this area, the police confiscated 5 sharp weapons of the type of sickle 3 blades and 2 arrows.

"The teenagers and the evidence were immediately taken to the Kebon Jeruk Police for further investigation," said AKBP M Hari when confirmed, Monday, August 5.

Furthermore, patrols continued and at around 05.00 WIB. The West Jakarta Metro Police Precise Pioneer Patrol Team again secured 3 teenagers suspected of planning to carry out a brawl in Kapuk, Cengkareng District, West Jakarta.

"Evidence in the form of 2 sharp weapons of the type of sickle was also secured," he said.

For further processing, the teenagers along with the evidence are now at the Cengkareng Police for further investigation.

"We will continue to increase patrols and surveillance in the West Jakarta area to ensure security and order," he said.
