The Heritage Flag For The 79th Anniversary Of The Republic Of Indonesia At IKN Is Estimated From Monas August 10

JAKARTA - The heirloom flag and the proclamation manuscript will be brought through a procession from the Jakarta National Monument (Monas) to the capital city of the archipelago in East Kalimantan (Kaltim) for the commemoration ceremony of the 79th Indonesian Independence Day.

Later the heirloom flag and the proclamation script will be stored in a special room at the State Palace of IKN.

"Berden and including the text text of the proclamation will be kept in a place that has been set at the IKN Palace," said Head of the Presidential Secretariat Heru Budi Hartono at a press conference related to a series of independence month events together with the Acting Head of the IKN Authority Basuki Hadimuljono in Jakarta, Thursday, August 1, confiscated by Antara.

Heru explained that the heirloom flag and the proclamation manuscript will be carried by the Heritage Flag Raising Troops (Paskibraka) in 2023, through the procession of the August 10, 2024 kirab, from Monas Jakarta, to Halim Perdanakusuma Air Force Base, Jakarta.

"There will be ceremonial activities at Monas which will be carried out by the DKI Jakarta provincial government and (flagged) will be immediately taken to Halim," said Heru.

From Halim, the heirloom flag and the proclamation script will be flown to Balikpapan, East Kalimantan, and will then be taken to the IKN area in North Penajam Paser.

"The one who did the carnival was Paskibraka in 2023, and of course this has been trained by all and the public can see on that date," explained Heru.

Acting Head of the IKN Authority as well as Minister of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) Basuki Hadimuljono added that the State Palace of IKN already has an heirloom flag room to store heirloom flags and proclamation scripts.

"So later the heirloom flag will be placed in the heirloom flag room, including the text of the proclamation," said Basuki.
