KPK Explores Opportunities For Investigation Of Harun Masiku Case Through Wahyu Setiawan
JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) admitted to investigating several matters related to the Harun Masiku case when examining former KPU Commissioner Wahyu Setiawan on Monday, July 29. No exception about the search for evidence of alleged obstruction to the investigation.
This was conveyed by KPK spokesman Tessa Mahardika when asked about Wahyu Setiawan's investigation. Initially, he said investigators asked for information regarding the bribery of interim replacement (PAW) members of the DPR.
"If WS is still related to bribery and gratification of the suspect HM and the whereabouts of the person concerned. So he was asked about that," said Tessa to reporters at the KPK's Red and White House, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta, Tuesday, July 30.
Then, Wahyu is also said to have been investigated regarding the possibility of implementing Article 21 of the Anti-Corruption Law in the Harun Masiku case. "Yes, it is included in the review of the investigation carried out by investigators," he said.
"The opportunity remains open. So as I have said, whoever is known or the investigator, in this case, is investigating obstruction of justice or knowing that there is information, of course, investigators will investigate it," continued the spokesman with the background of the investigator.

As previously reported, former KPU Commissioner Wahyu Setiawan was questioned on Monday, July 29. He was worked on by investigators for about six hours.
After being questioned, Wahyu did not want to elaborate on the matter of examination by investigators. The former prisoner only said that 15 questions were given.
As for this case, the anti-corruption commission has asked the Directorate General of Immigration of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights (Kemenkumham) to prevent five people from leaving the country. One of them is the staff of the Secretary General of PDIP Hasto Kristiyanto, Kusnadi.
Then, the KPK also opens up opportunities to apply the article on obstruction of justice. This possibility opened up after Dona Berisa, who is Saeful Bahri's ex-wife, was examined as a witness some time ago.
