Wahyu Setiawan Admits He Knows A Number Of People Who Are Prevented From Going Abroad In The Harun Masiku Bribery Case
Former Commissioner of the General Elections Commission (KPU) Wahyu Setiawan admitted that he knew a number of parties who were prevented from leaving the country in the case of interim bribery (PAW) involving former PDIP candidate Harun Masiku.
This was conveyed by Wahyu after undergoing examination as a witness at the KPK's Merah Putih building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta today, Monday, July 29. He was questioned by investigators for about six hours.
"There are several (names, ed) who know, some do not," Wahyu told reporters at the location.
Wahyu did not elaborate more on who he knew. However, he admitted that he did not know the staff of the PDIP Secretary General Hasto Kristiyanto, Kusnadi, who was also prevented from leaving the country.
"Don't know (with Kusnadi, ed)," he said.
He also said he did not know anything about the prevention abroad. This is because Wahyu claims investigators did not ask him during the examination.
"Earlier, the material was not like that. I was asked what else I had conveyed to investigators, maybe I could ask investigators directly," he said.
