No Virtual Broadcasts For The 2021 Oscars

JAKARTA - The 2021 Oscar awards will be held on April 25 in the United States. The committee of The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (AMPAS) shared a little information about the event.

Producers Steven Soderbergh, Stacey Sher, and Jesse Collins wrote a notification letter for guests attending the 2021 Oscars on Thursday, March 18.

"For those of you who were unable to attend due to schedule or travel inconvenience, we would like to inform you that there is no Zoom option for this event".

The Academy is trying to make the event fun and the virtual format reduces the atmosphere.

In addition, if later the winner cannot attend the Oscar 2021 event, there will be a party representing the winner.

For those who attend the event in person, there is a dress code that must be obeyed by the attendees, namely formal but not casual.

“The first opinion is CAN THIS EVENT RUN SAFE? The answer is YES, IT CAN. We treat the program like a set for a filming location with special things including the on-site COVID security team".

The health protocols will apply to the guests and the health security team. Those arriving from outside Los Angeles will also receive the same treatment.

The Oscar 2021 event will be held at Union Station and several aspects are taken from Oscar's original location at the Dolby Theater.
