Ashlee Simpson Prepares New Music After 16 Years

JAKARTA - Ashlee Simpson has just celebrated his 20th birthday for his debut album called Autobiography. He re-released the album with an extended version.

At the same time, Ashlee also announced his readiness to return to music.

The singer, who is famous for the song Pieces Of Me, admitted that he had returned to the studio to work on several new songs.

"Currently I'm working on song after song, and we'll see," said Ashlee Simpson during a recent interview with Stereogum.

"I'm sure it will be an album," Ashlee continued.

Furthermore, the 39-year-old singer revealed how different the songs she is currently working on are when compared to songs from the album Autobiography.

"I'm an adult now, so I'm a little more mature, and now it's more with live music. I feel the direction can always change, but I'm very happy with our current situation," he said.

In addition, Ashlee also talked about the artists she wanted to collaborate on.

"But right now I really like Chappell (Roan). He's amazing. I really like the whole album," concluded Ashlee Simpson.
