Inspired By SM*SH To NewJeans Songs, Xandega Presents SKRD As The Latest Music Racikan

JAKARTA - Xandega continued his series of solo songs following their debut single, "DA DAWG WITHIN" and their second single "IZ DA LUV (SUNSHINE)" with another song. With the nuances of electropop, the bassist of Polka Wars and one of the founders of Studiorama and Swanky Express, present an encouraging track entitled SKRD (SAD KISSES, RECKLESS DREAMS).

The writing of the lyrics of this song is inspired by Xandega's struggle with his partner in maintaining relationships when faced with the ups and downs of life. This song is expected to provide positive energy and also an optimistic view to be able to get through the various trials of all couples listening to this song.

The third single from Xandega was released to welcome its inaugural live performance in front of spectators at the WE THE FEST 2024 on the second day on Saturday, July 20 yesterday.

For this song, Xandega wrote everything himself but shared the producer's credit with producer BOYFOY and also has backing vocals from CLARA FRISKA (WHITESKELETON), a singer from the band White Chorus. Prior to this, Xandega and BOYFOY shared producer credit as well in the previous single Xandega IZ DA LUV (SUNSHINE) which some time ago just released an alternative version with vocals FEATuring from CLARA FRISKA (WHITESKELETON) as well.

Sonically, this song is inspired by classic Miami Bass genres such as My Boo by Ghost Town DJs, and also modern versions such as Newjeans How Sweet as well as local modern classic songs such as SMASH I Heart You.

The song, which was worked on since the beginning of this year, was recorded in Xandega's private studio, named Rayon Vert Studio, but several additional vocals were recorded together with BOYFOY and also EMIR AM and CLARA FRISKA from the band WHITE CHORUS in their studio, DOWNTOWN MARKET STUDIO in the city of Bandung.
