10 Passenger Train Cars In India Slipped, One Person Died

JAKARTA - One person died after 10 passenger carriages skidded from the railroad tracks in the state of Uttar Pradesh, northern India.

Reported by Reuters, television shows the Chandigarh-Dibruful Express carriage, which connects northern Indian states with the eastern state of Assam, on the rail side.

Passengers sit outside carrying their luggage, Thursday, July 18.

The report said the train accident occurred in the Gonda district, more than 100 km (60 miles) from the state capital Farhag.

The NDTV channel said one passenger was reported dead.
