It Was Revealed That The Delivery Of 2 Kg Of Marijuana Controlled By Prisoners In Tangerang Prison

TANGERANG - Pondok Aren Police managed to dismantle a syndicate of dried marijuana trafficking controlled by a Tangerang prison inmate with the initials F. Worse, the drug was sent by the dealer using online motorcycle taxi services.

From the hands of the suspect Muhammad Wahyudi (27), the police confiscated 2 kilograms of marijuana. The suspect was arrested in the area of Jalan Pahelar, Parung Panjang, Bogor Regency, West Java.

Pondok Aren Police Chief, Kompol Bambang Askar Sodiq said, from the suspect's confession, he got marijuana from a man with the initials F alias FER.

"FER is currently in Tangerang prison regarding drug cases," said Kompol Bambang when confirmed, Sunday, July 14.

Furthermore, Kompol Bambang explained that the disclosure began with an information in Pondok Aren, South Tangerang, that there was drug abuse in the Bogor Regency area. On that basis, his party visited the perpetrator's rented house in the Bogor Regency area. The perpetrator was arrested.

After a search was carried out at the perpetrator's rented house, Wahyudi also admitted that he still kept marijuana near the rice fields next to the rented house.

"After that, the perpetrator showed the place where the marijuana leaves were stored," he said.

The perpetrator was then taken to the Pondok Aren Police Station for questioning. The suspect admitted that the marijuana was obtained from his friend at the Tangerang prison.

"Then the perpetrator received the evidence since Tuesday, July 9, 2024, at around 16.30. A total of 2 kilograms by sending the motorcycle taxi package that was sent," he said.

The suspect only received a package from Fernando which was sent to the front address of Pondok Kacang Barat Village. Then the cannabis leaf plant type narcotics were brought back to the perpetrator's house.

Wednesday, July 10, 2024, at around 15.30 WIB, the perpetrator has just opened a 1 kilogram cannabis package which is divided into 13 packages (lines) ready for distribution.

"Meanwhile, the other 1 kg package is still intact. The suspect is charged with 114 paragraphs (2) and 111 paragraph (2) of the Republic of Indonesia Law No. 35 of 2009, concerning Narcotics," he said.
