Police Raid Drug Village In Kalipasir Menteng, 26 People Arrested
A total of 26 drug dealers and users were arrested by the Central Jakarta Metro Police in a large-scale operation in Kalipasir drug village, Menteng District, Central Jakarta.
Head of the Central Jakarta Police Narcotics Investigation Unit, AKBP Iver Son Manosoh, said the raid was held in the first week of July, and Tuesday, July 9, 2024.
"On Tuesday, July 9, 2024 at 02.00 WIB, the Central Jakarta Police have carried out large-scale drug law enforcement activities in the Kalipasir Menteng area," said AKBP Iver to reporters, Friday, July 12.
AKBP Iver said the Kalipasir area was a drug-prone location whose circulation was very concerning. Based on public information, he continued, drug trafficking has targeted children.
"Based on this information, the Central Jakarta Metro Police conducted an investigation and succeeded in securing the perpetrators of dealers, dealers and drug users as many as 26 perpetrators," he said.

In the first week of raids, he continued, his party used as many as 8 perpetrators of drug abuse.
"With evidence of narcotics of the type of methamphetamine amounting to 26.9 grams," he said.
Then in the raid which was held on Tuesday, July 9, 2024, as many as 18 people were arrested consisting of drug dealers and users. During the raid, the police managed to confiscate 3 packages of methamphetamine with a gross weight of 1.09 grams.
"Operational patterns like this are expected to have a determining effect on perpetrators in areas prone to drug trafficking and abuse," he said.
