Pati Police Investigate Delivery Of 17 Motorcycles To Kalimantan Without Complete Letter
Pati Police, Central Java, is still investigating the disclosure of 17 motorbikes transported by trucks to be sent to Kalimantan without a complete letter.
"Based on the information of the truck driver with the initials AM, a resident of Tanjungsari, Tlogowungu District, Pati Regency, the dozens of motorbikes were about to be sent off the island. Meanwhile, he admitted that he was limited to delivering them," said Head of the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Pati Police, Kompol M. Alfan Armin, quoted by ANTARA, Friday, July 12.
Based on the confession of the truck driver, he said, each vehicle earns Rp1 million in wages. Meanwhile, dozens of these vehicles were taken by AM from someone outside Pati in stages, namely Friday (5/7), Saturday (6/7), and Sunday (7/7).
After being collected, he said, the vehicle will be sent to Kalimantan along with a number of mattresses and plastic cabinets which are said to be someone's deposits to be transported at once.
After all the vehicles collected, the trucks will be covered with tarpaulins so that they are not visible from outside.
The disclosure of the case began with information about a vehicle in a truck parked around the truck driver's house with the initials AM in Tanjungsari Village, Tlogowungu on Tuesday (9/7).

To confirm this information, the team then dispatched it to check. As a result, 17 two-wheeled vehicles were found which were only equipped with a vehicle registration certificate (STNK). Furthermore, Polresta Pati secured the truck driver with the initials AM (28).
"Currently, we are still developing because previously AM also admitted that he had twice carried out transportation," he said.
Regarding a similar case that was about to be sent to Timor Leste, he admitted that he did not know because it was still being investigated. Including checking each unit of the vehicle.
At the end of 2023, the Pati Police also thwarted the export of dozens of motorcycles and a number of cars of various brands without valid vehicle documents for Timor Leste Country.
The vehicles that were secured at that time were 42 units of two-wheeled vehicles, seven units of four-wheeled vehicles, and one unit of a truck used to transport motorcycles. Meanwhile, 23 units of two-wheeled vehicles to be sent to Timor Leste.
