Ojol In Tangsel Mentally Affected Four Robbers Claiming To Be Debt Collectors, Motor Loans Lost

TANGERANG - Achmad Rivaldi (21) had to swallow the bitter pill. The student at one of the South Tangerang (Tangsel) universities has just lost his motorbike. The mode of theft used by the perpetrators is pretending to be a debt collector.

Indeed, Achmad did not deal directly with the perpetrators, but his friend, Abdul Muhyi (21), an online motorcycle taxi (ojol).

Abdul explained, Wednesday, July 10, he received a food order at the Muncul T-junction, Kademangan, Setu, South Tangerang, in the afternoon. Unfortunately Abdul's motorbike is being used by his friend. Because he was chased by an order, Abdul borrowed Achmad's motorbike, a white Honda Beat.

According to Abdul's story, when he was about to take orders, he was suddenly intercepted by four unknown people (OTK) using two motorbikes. To Abdul, the four people claimed to be debt collectors.

"Then he said, 'bang, I'm sorry for the installments of this motorbike'. Because this is a borrowed motorbike, my friend has it. Because my motorbike is also used by friends again. I'll call my friend," Abdul said when confirmed, Friday, July 12.

Abdul admitted that his cellphone was given to one of the four perpetrators, meaning to determine whether it was true as alleged.

"They called, if my friend said that the BPKB and STNK were complete. But he said this was a forgery, the BPKB could not be two". Meanwhile, in my opinion, he (the perpetrator) did not bring any evidence from his company, "he said.

Then Abdul was asked to go to the Cisauk Police. However, Abdul is still telling the story, he was actually taken to the Cisauk Police, which had been inactive for a long time.

"Then he said this. Let's go to the police station. When I wanted to go to the police station, I 'yes'. Then I was taken to the red light not far from the old Cisauk Police," he said.

Abdul admitted that he was often intimidated at that location. And soon four other perpetrators arrived. Abdul was surrounded by the perpetrators.

Because of his position alone, and far from local residents. Abdul was scared.

"So there they immediately took my key, when it was quiet there. He ran away. I didn't scream, I got mentally," he said.

Shortly thereafter, Achmad arrived at the location. Abdul told of what happened to him until the motorbike was seized by the perpetrator's gang.

Realizing that he was a victim of a crime, Achmad and Abdul came to the South Tangerang Police to make a report.

The report is registered with the number TBL/B/1597/Nil/2024/SPKT/SPERANG SELATAN/POLDA METRO JAYA.

Head of Public Relations of the South Tangerang Police, AKP Agil, confirmed the report. Currently under investigation.
