A Couple In Arkansas Charged With Murder For Death Of A 2-year-old Child Left In A Car

JAKARTA - A married couple in Arkansas, United States, has been charged with murder after one of their small children who was left in a hot vehicle died of hot temperatures.

Prosecutors at Little Rock filed a murder charge on Monday, July 8, against Deja and Justin Rollins after the death of their 2-year-old son. This couple insists they pleaded not guilty.

In addition to the murder charges, Deja and Justin Rollins face charges of domestic violence, neglect and endanger their five children, as well as animal atrocities, KTHV said.

Investigators found a malnourished dog at the Rollins family's residence inILam, northeast of Little Rock, KTHV continued.

Records on the court website did not include lawyers for the couple. The local public defender did not immediately respond to messages asking for comment.
