The Day After Tomorrow, Kaesang Will Visit Golkar DPP

JAKARTA - Chairman of the Golkar Party Airlangga Hartarto revealed that the Chairman of the Indonesian Solidarity Party (PSI) Kaesang Pangarep will visit the Golkar Party DPP, Thursday (11/7).

Airlangga did not mention the intention of Kaesang's arrival. However, the information was conveyed by Airlangga when asked about the opportunity for Golkar to carry President Joko Widodo's youngest son in the 2024 Pilkada.

"Thursday I will have guests," said Airlangga who is also the Coordinating Minister for the Economy to reporters at the Presidential Palace, Jakarta, as reported by ANTARA, Tuesday, July 9.

When confirmed whether the guest was Kaesang, Airlangga confirmed this.

"That's about it (Kaesang)," said Airlangga.

Separately, Golkar politician who is also Minister of Youth and Sports Dito Ariotedjo confirmed that Kaesang will be present at the Golkar DPP Office Thursday afternoon at 17.00 WIB.

Dito conveyed Kaesang's arrival to discuss the coalition of parties.

"Yes, Mas Kaesang is the General Chair of PSI and we are seconds before August, the Pilkada is definitely us, this fellow coalition is how we have to harmonize the heroes of the regional elections," said Dito.

Previously, on Monday (8/7) Kaesang visited the DPP Prosperous Justice Party (PKS). Kaesang's presence at PKS was to stay in touch and build political communication.
