Today, KAI Employee Suspected Of Domestic Violence And The Murder Of Sah's Wife Undergoes Mental Examination
East Jakarta Metro Police will conduct a psychological examination of the suspect Andika Ahid Widianto alias AAW (26), an employee of PT Kereta Api Indonesia (KAI) who was involved in a Domestic Violence (KDRT) case that led to the death of his wife, at a rented house in the Pulogadung area, East Jakarta.
The psychological examination of the suspect Andika Ahid Widianto will be carried out at the Kramat Jati Police Hospital, East Jakarta on Tuesday, July 9, today.
"Today, we plan to take the suspect with the initials A to the Psychiatricum Expert at the Police Hospital to conduct a psychological examination of the suspect," said East Jakarta Metro Police Chief, Kombes Nicolas Ary Lilipaly when confirmed by VOI.
Later during the examination, the suspect Andika Ahid Widianto also received assistance from the Women and Children Protection Unit (PPA) of the East Jakarta Metro Police.
"The steps we will take, we will conduct a psychiatric examination to determine the suspect's psyche," he said.
Meanwhile, in the investigation process, the East Jakarta Metro Police have also raised the status of this case to the investigation stage.
"We have raised it to the investigation stage. The status of the reported has been raised as a suspect and has been detained. The suspect AAW committed domestic violence and the murder of the victim RNA (27), his legal wife," he said.

Previously, the East Jakarta Metro Police succeeded in uncovering the motive for the murder carried out by an employee of PT Kereta Api Indonesia (KAI) named Andika Ahid Widianto (26) against his wife at a rented house in a narrow alley, Jalan Asoka, Pulogebang District, East Jakarta.
"The motive is jealousy. The suspect accuses the victim of having an affair with other people," said East Jakarta Metro Police Chief, Kombes Nicolas Ary Lilipaly to reporters, Tuesday, July 2.
Suspect Andika has been married to a victim named Rizki Nur Arifahmawati (27) since two years ago. From that marriage, the married couple have one daughter.
"The victim and the suspect husband and wife are legal. They live with an 8-month-old girl," he said.
Meanwhile, before the murder took place, suspect Andika accused the victim of having an affair with another man. However, the suspect could not prove the accusation.
Burned with jealousy, the suspect finally strangled the victim's neck and hit the victim's face and head until he finally died.
