Mumbai India Flooded: Train Operations Stopped, Bus Deployed To Serve Passengers

JAKARTA - Mumbai in India is flooded due to the high intensity of rain. As a result, train operations that cross the city were temporarily suspended, a number of buses were deployed to serve passengers.

Citing the Times of India, buses were alerted from Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT) to escort the affected area from the Mail Express train operations.

The bus will take passengers to the Bhiwandi, Thane, Trimbakeshwar, Satara, Karad, Shrivardhan, Raigad, Chiplun, and Ratnagiri trimbakthar areas.

The MSRTC provides special buses for those who are'surprised' in the aftermath of the cessation of train services on the port line after heavy rains fell from 1 a.m. to 7 a.m. this morning.

The Hindustan Times reported that due to this flood students for all BMC schools and universities, the country to the private sector in Mumbai were closed.

The decision to eliminate teaching and learning activities at this educational institution is up to a predetermined limit.

Meanwhile, the Department of Meteorology of India (IMD) estimates that the Mumbai and Maharashtra areas have the potential to experience heavy rains again for the next 3 days, until July 10.
