Apple Launches Game Porting Toolkit 2 In Beta Version
JAKARTA Apple launched Game Porting Toolkit 2, a game transfer tool from one device to another, in the beta version on Wednesday, July 3. This porting tool got some updates. The latest version of the Game Porting Toolkit gets better graphic performance and can be used for ray-tracing on compatible hardware. In addition, this tool is compatible with more software. It was mentioned at the 2024 Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) last June, Apple said that Game Porting Toolkit 2 could move games from Windows to macOS or move versions of macOS to iPhone and iPad. With this capability, game developers for macOS can bring their game apps to iOS or iPadOS devices, according to their wishes. This new feature also does not complicate the application move.
