Bogor Transportation Agency Adds Patrol Hours Ordered Illegal Parking On Puncak Line
BOGOR - The Department of Transportation (Dishub) of Bogor Regency, West Java, has added personnel and patrol hours to optimize the control of illegal parking along the Puncak Tourism Route.
The daily executive of the Head of the Bogor Regency Transportation Agency, Mustakim, said that efforts to increase the intensity of patrol officers were to prevent illegal parking in the former street vendors (PKL) that had been evicted.
"The addition of personnel from eight people is now 15 personnel from URC Mandala, while patrol hours are carried out every two hours from 10.00 to 16.00 WIB," he said as quoted by ANTARA, Thursday, July 4.
Mustakim explained that the Bogor Regency Transportation Agency continues to coordinate with the Satpol PP and PT Sayuga Wisata as managers of the Gunung Mas Rest Area, in controlling illegal parking in the Puncak Area.
"Of course, to provide comfort to business actors, the community as well as visitors," said Mustakim.
Meanwhile, Head of Traffic Division of the Bogor Regency Transportation Agency, Dadang Kosasih, said that illegal parking patrols were not only carried out around the Gunung Mas Rest Area, but along the Puncak Line.
"Also to the area where the former illegal parking lot was demolished by urging and controlling illegal parking vehicles in inappropriate areas," said Dadang.
Previously, Acting Regent of Bogor Asmawa Tosepu directly led the control of street vendors in the Puncak area on Monday (24/6), despite being rejected by some traders.
Asmawa ensures that the economy of street vendors or street vendors in the Tourism Area will be better after moving to the Gunung Mas Rest Area.
The Bogor Regency Government has provided various facilities for traders, including free retribution fees for the next six months.

The manager of the Mount Mas Rest Area, PT Sayuga Wisata, is even integrating the entrance and exit of the Gunung Mas Tourism Agro with a rest area, so that traders are crowded with tourists.
"We hope that the economy will be better, because the flow in and out of Gunung Mas will cross here (Rest Area Gunung Mas)," said Asmawa.
In addition, the Bogor Regency Government also frees parking costs for tourist vehicles entering and leaving the Gunung Mas Rest Area.
He considered the paid parking system implemented since the Gunung Mas Rest Area operated in mid-2023 as one of the reasons for the lack of visitors.
