Google Will Add Double Window Capability To Gemini App

JAKARTA Gemini, a big language model (LLM) developed by Google, has continued to get updates since it was first launched. This time, Gemini's app will get multitasking features. Based on the Android Authority report, Gemini for Android devices will support operation in double windows. With this feature, users don't need to switch apps just to ask a few questions. Seen in the beta version 15.26.34, support for this double window is added in the form of a small handle at the top of the window. When Gemini's pop-up is raised, you can press and pull that handle onto the top of the screen. When pulled to the top and the window is removed, Gemini will immediately open in half-screen form. You can even open other applications in the lower window, opening two versions of Gemini at the same time.

You can open Gemini's chat room and open the pop-up of the Gemini app. Even if it's opened at the same time, you can start two different conversations. The app response won't be disrupted when you use this capability. Although the feature is already visible in the beta version, it's not yet known when the feature will roll out. Apparently, this feature will be launched for the first time on Samsung's foldable phone because the company's name is visible next to the multi window mode. Samsung will hold the Galaxy Unpacked on July 10 to launch the latest two series of foldable phones. To find out if the feature was launched for Samsung' foldable phones, we have to wait until the phone is launched.
