Pansel Denies Registration Of Capim And KPK Councils Is Not Interested
JAKARTA - Chairman of the Selection Committee for Leadership Candidates (Capim) and Supervisory Board (Dewas) of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) Muhammad Yusuf Ateh denied the assumption that registration of strategic positions in anti-corruption institutions was not of interest to the public.
As of Monday, July 1, only 10 people registered as candidates and 16 people as candidates for the KPK council.
"It's only started (the registration period). (Many people) have created an account," Yusuf said when met at the Presidential Palace, Jakarta, as reported by ANTARA.
According to him, registrants will definitely need a lot of time to prepare the required documents. That does not mean that the registration of the candidates and candidates for the KPK council is empty of interest.
"It (needs) documents. Later (registers to attach) documents. It takes time, it's normal," he said. Yusuf asked the public to be patient waiting because he believed many people would be interested in filling positions at the KPK. "Anyway, just wait. Just wait. Trust me," he said.
Registration for the KPK candidates and candidates for adults is open for 20 days, namely from June 26 to July 15, 2024. This means that on Monday, the registration period is only 14 days away.
