President Jokowi Inaugurates Development And Renovation Of Education Facilities Of IDR 84.2 Billion In Central Kalimantan
JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) inaugurated the construction, rehabilitation, and renovation of 16 educational facilities and infrastructure with a budget of IDR 84.2 billion in Central Kalimantan Province (Kalteng).The inauguration was centered at the Palangka Raya State Islamic Institute (IAIN), Central Kalimantan, Thursday, June 27.For three years from 2020 to 2023, the construction, rehabilitation, and renovation of educational facilities and infrastructure in Central Kalimantan have been going well." “ Development, rehabilitation, renovation in IAIN then in several elementary, junior high, and madrasa-madrasah schools, this is done so that existing facilities and infrastructure can be more useful for students, for our school children," said President Jokowi in his remarks as quoted by Antara.President Jokowi hopes that the development, rehabilitation, and renovations carried out will be useful in creating superior Human Resources (HR)."By saying Bismillahirohmanirohim, this morning I inaugurate development, rehabilitation, renovation of educational infrastructure in Central Kalimantan," said Jokowi.Director General of Human Settlements of the Ministry of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) Diana Kusumastuti said the construction, rehabilitation, and renovation of educational facilities and infrastructure inaugurated by the President in Central Kalimantan consisted of one Pascasarjana IAIN Palangka Raya building, six madrasas, and nine schools in a number of districts in Central Kalimantan with a total budget of IDR 84.2 billion."This has all been used, the postgraduate building is also used for college, then also the madrasas and elementary schools have also been used everything," said Diana.Meanwhile, IAIN Palangka Raya Chancellor Ahmad Dakhoir thanked the President for inaugurating, building, rehabilitating, and renovating state assets in educational institutions.
