Apple Launches Tap To Pay Pay Pay Pay Pay Pay Feature In Germany

JAKARTA In late May, Apple expanded the Tap to Pay feature to three countries, namely Canada, Japan, and Italy. Now, Apple is launching contactless payment tools on the iPhone to Germany. All users in Germany can use Tap to Pay in various stores that support its payments. "Tap to Pay on iPhone makes it easy for businesses of all sizes to accept payments with contactless credit and debit cards, Apple Pay, and other digital wallets using only iPhones and iOS applications supported by payment partners," said Apple. The company explains that all payments platforms and German-centered developers can integrate Tap to Pay services into iOS applications. This feature is believed to provide convenience for customers. Currently, there are several payment platforms that offer Tap to Pay features. These platforms are Adyen, Commonz Globalpay, Nexi, SumUp, and Viva. mollie, PAYONE, Revolut, Sparkassan-Finanzgroupe, and Stripe will use Tap to Pay later this year.

"Tap to Pay on the iPhone is available across the Apple Store in Germany, and its launch starts at retailers such as Dyson, GANNI, and Rithis. Gastronovi makes Tap to Pay on the iPhone available in the sales system used by thousands of restaurants," Apple explained. Tap to Pay is so far only compatible on the iPhone Xs and later. This feature was released in 2022 and its feature expansion is slow. In addition to the four countries above, Tap to Pay is only available in the US, UK, France, Taiwan, Australia, Netherlands, Brazil, and Ukraine.
