Police Ask For Medical Record Of Santriwati Victims Of Persecution To Soedjono Hospital

The Mataram City Police, West Nusa Tenggara asked for the medical records of the students of the Al-Aziziyah Islamic Boarding School with the initials NI (13) who were suspected of being victims of abuse to the Regional General Hospital (RSUD) dr. Soedjono, East Lombok Regency.

"We submitted an official request (medical record result) in writing to the hospital. We submitted a letter last Monday (24/6)," said Head of the Mataram Police Satreskrim Kompol I Made Yogi Purusa Utama as reported by ANTARA, Tuesday, June 25.

His party emphasized that they could not take other legal steps before there was a medical record from the hospital.

"So, this medical record will determine our steps in following up on reports," he said.

Regarding when the medical records were published, Yogi admitted that he had not received further information from the hospital.

"Yes, of course they from the hospital also have procedures, there are stages that must be done before issuing them. No, as soon as we propose, they will be given immediately. We'll just have to wait," he said.

Meanwhile, Mahmud H. Umar, the father of an NI student who was contacted by telephone from Mataram, said that his son is still undergoing intensive medical treatment at dr. Soedjono Hospital.

"The condition of our child is still in a coma, not yet conscious. Entering last Saturday (22/6) was no longer able to speak," said Mahmud.

During his medical treatment, he said the hospital had carried out a CT scan of the victim's head. Mahmud said he had not received any results from the hospital.

However, from temporary communication with the doctor who treated the victim, Mahmud received information about a lump in his son's head.

"Last Monday (24/6) he said there was something on the head, a lump. The others, the heart, are all normal," he said.
