9 Killed In Ammunition Depot Explosion In Chad Africa

Nine people were killed and 46 injured in an explosion caused by a fire in a military ammunition warehouse in the capital Chad, Central Africa.

Health Minister Abdelmadjid Abderahim said the death toll may have increased as many people suffered serious injuries.

The explosion on Tuesday, June 18 evening, lit up the night sky above a military base near major international airports in central African countries.

Extortion bullets flew to nearby houses that scared the residents of seeking refuge.

On Wednesday morning President Mahamat Idriss Deby visited locations where damaged cars and twisted metals were scattered on the ground around the former explosion.
