Handling Online Gambling Cases, Government Closes Online Top Up Game Purchase Service
Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs (Menko Polhukam) Hadi Tjahjanto said the online gambling task force or gambling will close the online game purchase service or top up online game at minimarkets.
This is because several online games circulating in the community are affiliated with online gambling practices.
"Earlier I conveyed to the TNI and Polri, Babinsa and Bhabinkamtibmas to be able to carry out checks and closures," Hadi said as quoted by ANTARA, Wednesday, June 19.
Hadi explained that his party had recorded which online games were affiliated with online gambling.
Later the Task Force will check the virtual number of the top up purchase to trace the actor behind the operation of the game under the guise of online gambling.
However, he ensured that credit purchase activities other than online games in each minimarket were still allowed to operate.
"If the seller is related to the content of the pulse, please, but what is related to online games, we have to close. Later we will cooperate with minimarket owners," explained Hadi.
