Megawati Orders Elected PDIP Candidates To Join Legal Schools

Chairman of the PDI-P (PDIP) Megawati Soekarnoputri said that each legislative candidate (caleg) elected in the 2024 Legislative Election from her party must attend legal school.This was conveyed by PDIP Secretary General Hasto Kristiyanto when opening a law school which was attended by DPR RI candidates, provincial DPRD, district/city DPRD at the PDIP DPP Party School, Lenteng Agung, Jakarta today, Friday, June 14.Hasto said, the message was conveyed by Megawati when he reported the implementation of a law school with the former Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs (Polhukam) Mahfud MD. This mandatory activity was prepared by the Chairman of the PDIP DPP Djarot Saiful Hidayat."Mrs. Mega said that this legal school is very important and must be followed by all elected legislatures, both at the central level, at the provincial and city district levels, which are carried out online," said Hasto in his remarks.The legislative candidates are expected to be enthusiastic in attending this law school. Because Megawati as the general chairman was only present online because of her enthusiasm."I was so enthusiastic that Mrs. Mega, so yesterday she stated, 'I also want to go to law school'," said the former member of the DPR RI."And then we conveyed that this event was hybrid so he followed it online," continued Hasto.In this law school, it is hoped that later the legislative candidates will be able to see various problems of the nation.
