Meta Lie On Latest Quest 3 Ads, Shows Non-existent Ability

JAKARTA Meta launched the Quest 3 headset ad on Wednesday, June 12 on YouTube. At first glance, there is nothing wrong with the ad because Meta only wants to show users who use Quest 3. However, if you look closely at the ad, you will realize that Meta has lied in its ads. The company shows that Quest 3 can open multiple windows in various places, whereas this can't be done. Inside the 16-second ad, it looks like someone is doing a job in the garage while using Quest 3. It opens many windows in various places to watch YouTube, reply to WhatsApp messages, and others. It should be noted that Quest can only open three windows at the same time and can't be more than that. All the apps that open will be displayed side by side so that Quest users will face three floating windows. You can change the size and position, but you can't separate the three windows. This is a lack of Quest because Apple Vision Pro can open a wide variety of applications at once without being restricted.

Vision Pro users can also place application windows wherever they want, as they do next to them, in the corner of the room, or even in other rooms. While Quest can't do it, Meta may improve this ability in the future. Meta also releases other ads with a duration of 30 seconds. Inside the ad, it can be seen that Quest users do zoom moves to pull their windows closer. This ability is also not present in Quest until now. Although ads can be made a little overdoped, some viewers may think that Meta Quest can do zoom to pull windows or put app windows in various places. Unfortunately, these two capabilities are only displayed as ad sweetener.
