Sri Mulyani Wants To Be A Kindergarten Teacher, Chairul Tanjung's Daughter: That's My Dream Too Ma'am

JAKARTA - The figure of Sri Mulyani Indrawati has held several important positions in the Indonesian government and international institutions. He is currently Indonesia's Minister of Finance, and the 58-year-old woman has also served as Managing Director of the World Bank.

Even so, the woman who is familiarly called Bu Ani admits that one dream has not been achieved. It turned out that he wanted to become a Kindergarten (TK) teacher.

This he expressed when answering a question at the Afternoon Chat event as he pleased with Putri Tanjung. The son of the conglomerate Chairul Tanjung has the same aspirations as Sri Mulyani.

"I really want to be a kindergarten teacher. I am very happy to be around children," said Sri Mulyani, quoted by VOI, Monday, March 15.

Putri Tanjung, who heard this, suddenly burst out laughing. The eldest daughter of Chairul Tanjung also dreams of becoming a kindergarten teacher.

"Me too, ma'am. That's my dream," said Putri.

Sri Mulyani admitted that she was very happy with the children. For her, the kindergarten teacher profession is an extraordinary job because the task of exploring the role of teaching kindergarten children is something that not everyone is able to do.

"Children have extraordinary energy. Starting from leaves, ants, stars, everything can be used as toys. They can also make toys. Children don't know the brand either, whether cheap or expensive can be used as toys" said Sri Mulyani.

Putri also agreed with what Sri Mulyani said. According to Putri, a child does have a wide and unlimited imagination.

"Unlimited imagination, ma'am. Hopefully, my dream to become a kindergarten teacher can be achieved," said the 24-year-old woman.
