KPK Opens Opportunity To Summon Anies Baswedan Regarding Alleged Corruption In Land Acquisition In DKI
JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) will summon a number of witnesses to be questioned regarding the alleged corruption in land acquisition in Munjul, Pondok Ranggon Urban Village, Cipayung, East Jakarta.
One of the parties that could be summoned as a witness is DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan.
Summons to Anies, said Acting KPK spokesman Ali Fikri, was possible. Provided, the former Minister of Education and Culture is the party who is aware of the alleged corruption crime.
"I think whoever the witnesses saw, who felt, then knew about this incident would of course (be summoned, red) later," Ali told reporters at the KPK's Red and White House, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta, Monday, March 15.
Moreover, currently, there have been a number of witnesses being examined in connection with this case. So, if there is further development, Ali said, investigators will call other witnesses to strengthen the articles suspected in this case, namely Article 2 and Article 3 of the Corruption Law.
"From there it will be further developed who the witnesses will be summoned to strengthen the evidence of the suspected articles," he said.

Previously reported, the KPK is currently investigating a corruption case related to land acquisition in Munjul, Pondok Ranggon Village, Cipayung, East Jakarta. This land will later be used to build houses with a down payment or DP IDR 0, which is a program of DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan.
Although it has not been announced, based on the summons for a witness, in this case, there are four suspects who have been named by the KPK. The first suspect is the Director of the Regional Public Company Pembangunan Sarana Jaya, Yoory Corneles, who has now been retired from his position.
In addition, the KPK also named two private parties Anja Runtuwene and Tommy Ardian as suspects. Not only that, but the anti-graft commission also established a corporation, namely PT. Adonara Propertindo.
The four suspects, including the corporation, are suspected of violating Article 2 paragraph 1 or Article 3 of Law Number 31 of 1999 concerning Eradication of Corruption as amended by Law Number 20 of 2001 concerning amendments to Law Number 31 of 1999 concerning the Eradication of Corruption in conjunction with Article 55 Ajay 1 to 1 of the Criminal Code.
Regarding the four suspects, the KPK has not yet to speak up. Because, from the start they conveyed, details of cases and suspects during the process of arresting and detaining the suspects had been carried out.
