Immigration Opens Passport And Visa Making Service At PIM 3

JAKARTA - The Class I Immigration Office for Non-South Jakarta Immigration Checkpoints opens passport and visa services at the Pondok Indah Mall (PIM) 3. Interestingly, this service is open until Saturday-Sunday.

Director General of Immigration Silmy Karim explained that people who will apply for passports can visit the Immigration Lounge service on Monday-Friday by registering through M-Passport first. Meanwhile, those who prefer to come directly are only available on Saturdays and Sundays.

Meanwhile, foreign nationals (WNA) who will take care of the extension of the VoA must also register online.

"The immigration service provided at Immigration Lounge is specifically for accelerated passport services for Indonesian citizens and the extension of VoA for foreigners so that the service is more specific," said Director General of Immigration Silmy Karim to reporters at PIM 3, South Jakarta, Monday, June 10.

Head of the South Jakarta Immigration Office, Johannes Fanny Satria added that the Immigration Lounge was initiated to accommodate the characteristics of Indonesian citizens and foreigners in South Jakarta who like to shop.

In addition, it also targets people who have a high level of activity so that service days and operating hours adjust to user needs.

"We are present every day from 10.00 WIB to 18.00 WIB on Monday-Friday last Saturday and Sunday service hours only until 14.00 WIB," said Fanny.

One of the artists, Ayushita, said she was happy with the passport-making service at PIM 3 South Jakarta. According to him, the existence of services at this mall makes it easier for people to make passports.

"So we are here to extend passports, there are those who make new ones. But the immunigration office which is currently launching in pim 3 with facilities actually makes it easier for all of us to make passports," said Ayushita.
