Google Add Animation In Hum To Search Features

JAKARTA Google is developing the Hum to Search feature, the ability to search for information using sound, on Android and iOS. In the latest version, Hum to Search will display dynamic animations. This feature can be accessed through the Google app. When users click the voice record icon, they will see four dots with different colors and move like waves. Although it is quite interesting, this display will be changed by Google. Based on a 9to5google report, this wavy spot display will be replaced with a larger, spherical-like spot. When activating the voice record icon, this ball will slowly rotate with a changing color. Although the changes in shape are much larger, Google retains the color of the feature, namely blue, red, yellow, and green. Over a colored wave, Google adds a command, "Play, sing, or blur." The Hum to Search feature can be used in several products made by Google, such as Google Assistant and YouTube. However, it is not yet known whether this animated change will be applied throughout Google products that have similar features.

Google first launched the Hum to Search feature in 2020. This feature is designed to help users search for songs they only know a little bit of the tone or the song they forgot the title of. In accordance with instructions from Google, users must sing or enliven the notes they remember for 10 to 15 seconds. After giving directions via voice, Google will display information from the songs they are looking for.
