PKB Ensures Khofifah Will Not Fight Empty Boxes In East Java Gubernatorial Election
JAKARTA - The National Awakening Party (PKB) has confirmed that the incumbent in the East Java gubernatorial election, Khofifah Indar Parawansa, will not be allowed to fight the empty box. The screening process will continue.
"PKB is still in the process of capturing," said Deputy Chairperson of PKB Jazilul Fawaid to reporters at the PKB DPP office, Jalan Raden Saleh, Central Jakarta, Saturday, June 8.
"We hope that the dynamics of the East Java gubernatorial election will be interesting. Don't let the convex (box) be empty, right. The election period is empty," he continued.

Jazilul ensured that his party could carry its own candidates in the East Java gubernatorial election. However, he said PKB did not want to rush.
Jazilul even said that he monitored all the dynamics related to the East Java gubernatorial election. In addition, there is one figure who is currently being considered, namely Kiai Haji Marzuki Mustamar.
"So, the decision is likely to be taken by PKB at the last moment. There are Kiai Marzuki, there are still many kinds. Not yet if the fix is not yet. Still waiting for the process," he concluded.
