Microsoft Reopens Testing Channel For Windows 10

JAKARTA Microsoft will end the Windows 10 update in October next year so that the beta program for the system has been shut down. However, Microsoft has re-opened the Windows 10 beta program. The beta testing program re-opened after Microsoft addedpilot, an Artificial Intelligence-based personal assistant (AI), to Windows 10. This feature was originally exclusive for Windows 11, but has been extended to Windows 10. By adding the Copilot to Windows 10, Microsoft said it needed channels to test various new features and other upgrades. Therefore, they re-opened the Beta Channel from Windows Insider. "We opened the Beta Channel for Windows Insiders currently using Windows 10. This allowed us to try new features for Windows 10, version 22H2, with Insiders before releasing it to all Windows 10 subscribers," Microsoft said. The company confirmed that it only provided improvements according to Windows 10 needs. Although the testing channel reopened, the update support will still end on October 14 next year.

It is not yet known what features will be tested in the beta channel for Windows 10. Microsoft only explains that most features will be launched using Control Feature Launch technology and not all features will be rolled out to the public. "The features and experiences included in the Windows 10 version that we sent to the Beta Channel may never be released when we try various concepts and get input. The feature can change over time, be removed, or replaced," explained Microsoft.
