Bags Filled With Cellphones And Cash Belonging To Kramat Jati Vegetable Traders Were Snatched By Motorists
JAKARTA - A mobile vegetable trader became a victim of an unknown man snatching a motorbike on Jalan Kekeran, Batu Ampar, Kramat Jati, East Jakarta.
The perpetrator managed to escape after snatching a bag containing wallets, cellphones and some cash from the vegetable trade.
The robbery was caught on CCTV cameras belonging to local residents. The victim, who was shocked, screamed and tried to chase the perpetrator while asking for help. But the effort was in vain.
"Before the incident, it was also crowded here. Maybe the perpetrators had monitored it. When the incident happened, I was called," said the head of the local RT, Asmuni, to reporters, Wednesday, June 5.

After receiving the incident report, Asmuni immediately saw the CCTV footage. It turned out that after seeing it, he only found out the chronology of the incident.
"Mrs. Siti, a vegetable seller, was snatched by a bag and cellphone. The position (tas) was pulled, forcibly pulled almost fell," he said.
