Bobby Nasution Optimistic To Get PKB Recommendations To Advance For North Sumatra Gubernatorial Election
JAKARTA - Medan Mayor Bobby Nasution is optimistic that he will get a recommendation from the National Awakening Party (PKB), to run in the North Sumatra Pilgub.
"God willing, the test will pass," he said after taking a competency and proper test (UKK) at the PKB DPP office, Jakarta, reported by ANTARA, Tuesday, June 4.
Bobby followed the UKK and interviewed PKB Deputy Chairperson Jazilul Fawaid. In the same place, Bobby also met PKB Chairman Muhaimin Iskandar.
Bobby Nasution expressed questions related to the UKK, including the vision and mission to build North Sumatra. In addition, how will he be involved in building PKB in North Sumatra.
According to him, it is not who will run in the North Sumatra Pilkada, or who will fight who will fight who, but who will need to build North Sumatra.
"The character of his leadership must be adjusted to the character of North Sumatra, which is multi-ethnic, diversity, all of this must have a stake, not just certain groups or parts," he asserted.
Meanwhile, Deputy Chairperson of PKB Jazilul Fawaid said that the candidate for governor from North Sumatra Muhammad Bobby Nasution had conducted a UKK with the PKB Pilkada Decree. According to him, a candidate for governor must have a vision and achievement.

"The city of Medan is more orderly, building an IslamicCenter in Medan, building a stadium, that's an achievement. It's just a matter of how other areas, especially health, education, will be the focus," explained Gus Jazil.

As a Gerindra cadre, Bobby has the opportunity to get support for 13 seats from the North Sumatra DPRD. Golkar, who has given a letter of assignment to Bobby, has 22 seats in the North Sumatra DPR.
