Defense Minister Prabowo Wants Defense Cooperation With Denmark To Be Strengthened
JAKARTA - Defense Minister (Menhan) Prabowo Subianto wants more cooperation in the defense sector between Indonesia and Denmark to be strengthened.
"I hope that the relations between Indonesia and Denmark related to defense will be strengthened in the future," he said as quoted by ANTARA, Tuesday, June 4.
Prabowo received a visit from the Danish Ambassador to the Indonesia Sten Frimodt Nielsen at the Ministry of Defense (Kemhan) office, Jakarta. Nielsen arrived at the Ministry of Defense at around 14:23 WIB
Prabowo hopes that Nielsen's visit can be a good opportunity to discuss increasing cooperation for the two countries, especially in the defense sector.

It is known that the Indonesia-Denmark defense cooperation has been accommodated by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the two countries through the 2017 Plan of Action (POA) 2020 with results, namely the 3rd RI-Denmark Bilateral Cooperation Forum (FKB) in October 2020 for the preparation of POA 2021 2024.
One proof of the defense industry cooperation between Indonesia and Denmark that has been established, namely the cooperation between PT. PAL and Denmark's Terma A/S in providing the 60M missile rapid ship (KCR) program and Hospital Assistance Ships in 2018.
