In addition, FKUI's position is equivalent to that of medical faculties from other prestigious universities in Asia such as the University of Tsukuba in Japan, Kaoshiung Medical University in Taiwan, and is above Kobe University in Japan, Istanbul University in Turkey, Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), University Sains Malaysia (USM), and the University of The Philippine in the Philippines.

The QS World University Rankings by Subject is based on an assessment of the situation, productivity, research impact (h-index), and the results of a global survey conducted on graduate users and academics.
