'Disbanded' Bambang Susantono, Jokowi To East Kalimantan Reviewing IKN

JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) paid a working visit to East Kalimantan Province (Kaltim) from 3 to 5 June 2024 to attend the XVII 2024 National Working Meeting (Rakernas) of the Association of Indonesian City Governments (Apeksi).

During the visit, the President will also review and inaugurate a number of infrastructure developments in the capital city of Nusantara (IKN).

The Press Bureau of the Presidential Secretariat informed President Jokowi that he took off from the Halim Perdanakusuma Air Force Base in Jakarta using the Presidential Aircraft Indonesia-1 at around 14:40 WIB.

Reported by ANTARA, Monday, June 3, he accompanied President Jokowi on a flight to East Kalimantan Province, Minister of State Secretary Pratikno, Minister of Investment/Head of BKPM Bahlil Lahadalia, Minister of Public Works and Public Housing who is also Acting Head of the IKN Authority Basuki Hadimuljono, Deputy Minister of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/Deputy Head of the National Land Agency (ATR/BPN) who is also Deputy Head of the IKN Authority Raja Juli Antoni, and Wishnutama Kusubandio.

The President arrived at Sultan Aji Muhammad Sulaiman Sepinggan International Airport, Balikpapan City at around 17.45 WITA.

President Jokowi's arrival was welcomed by Acting Governor of East Kalimantan Akmal Malik, Pangdam VI/Mulawarman Major General TNI Tri Budi Utomo, East Kalimantan Police Chief Inspector General Nanang Avianto, Pangkoarmada II Laksda Ariyanto, and Danlanud Dhomber Colonel Pnb. David Ali Hamzah.
