Ridwan, A 21-year-old Youth In Muara Baru Found Dead Floating In A Fishing Port Pond

JAKARTA - A joint team consisting of Bakamla RI and the SAR Team found a resident who drowned in the Nizam Zachman Ocean Fishing Port Pond, Muara Baru, North Jakarta, Sunday, June 2.

"The victim, on behalf of Ridwan (21) who was found at a distance of approximately one kilometer from the scene of the incident, died," said Deputy Expert Public Relations Pranata Captain Bakamla Yuhanes, quoting ANTARA.

He said the victim was found at 07.19 WIB floating and his body was immediately taken to Cipto Mangunkusumo Hospital (RSCM), Central Jakarta.

"The next process is handed over to the victim's family," he said.

Ridwan drowned on Friday, May 31, at around 20.00 WIB. The victim drowned after jumping in the waters of the Nizam Zachman Ocean Fishing Port, Muara Baru, Penjaringan District, North Jakarta.

Efforts to search for victims were carried out on Saturday and resumed on Sunday morning by sweeping using rubber boats and "Rigid Inflatable Boat" around the waters of Muara Baru Pier up to a radius of two kilometers from the scene.

The search was also carried out using RHIB 87-07 belonging to Bakamla RI, Rescue Car, rubber boat, rescue net, SAR Air ship and diving equipment.

A joint team working to search for the bodies of victims starting from Bakamla RI, Basarnas Jakarta, BPBD North Jakarta, Muara Baru Police and Pos TNI AL Muara Baru. In addition, Bakamla Jakarta, PolAir Polda Metro Jaya, SAR MTA, ESLAN, Randu Jajar Rescue and Ship Manager Muara Baru.
