Neta Jalin Strategic Partnership With CATL As Main Battery Supplier
JAKARTA - Contemporary Amperex Technology Co. Limited, or abbreviated (CATL), a Chinese battery manufacturer signed a 10-year strategic partnership agreement with the Neta brand, to consolidate its position amid increasingly intense competition.
Quoting from the CNevpost page, Saturday, May 25, both parties agreed to launch a comprehensive strategic partnership from 2025 to 2034, with Neta making CATL the preferred partner for electric vehicle batteries.
CATL is also committed to providing Neta for competitive battery products and services in the market.
The two will also work together in the zero carbon sector, including battery exchange, vehicle to grid (V2G), battery recycling to market development.
As is known, CATL and Neta have been working together for several years and Neta's first model also uses batteries from CATL. Neta hopes that this partnership that will make the brand more global.
"Neta will use the CIIC chassis developed by CATL, as well as fast charging technology with a high voltage of up to 800 V," Neta reported.

Talking about CATL in collaboration with car brands is nothing new, the Chinese company has collaborated with Daihatsu to become a new battery supplier and battery technology to promote e-mobility in Japan.
Apart from Daihatsu, Ford is also a brand that cooperates with CATL. The company is conducting strategic cooperation to supply batteries in China, Europe and North America.
