One Company, ILLIT Agency Legally Sues NewJeans Agency CEO, Min Hee Jin

JAKARTA - BELIFT LAB, which is the agency ILLIT, officially announced that they are suing ADOR CEO, Min Hee Jin. They demanded the directors of the NewJeans agency because it was considered detrimental to the company.

It is known that BELIFT LAB and ADOR are labels that are in one company, HYBE.

"Today, Wednesday, May 22, we filed a complaint against CEO Min Hee Jin for disrupting our business and harming our company with related artists over his false claims," BELIFT LAB said today, Wednesday, May 22.

"We emphasize that the plagiarism that Min Hee Jin accuses of against our artist ILLIT is not true," they continued.

The agency claimed to have sent the evidence to the authorities so they could check the truth. They said the process would go through a long time so they would make a legal statement.

"Determination whether intellectual property is plagiarized or not must be made based on reasonable standard procedures, not just interpretations," continued the agency that also oversees ENHYPEN.

"We regret the achievements and efforts of artists and members based on false information and speculation of discrimination. Furthermore, although this issue is not related to ILLIT, ILLIT members experience bad comments and personal attacks," he said.

We ask that all the results of discrimination, the spread of false information, and personal attacks on our artists be eliminated. We will do our best to look after the artist and our members. Thank you," concluded the agency.

Min Hee Jin claims BELIFT LAB and Bang Si Hyuk made the ILLIT concept by imitating the NewJeans concept. The CEO of ADOR even accused Bang Si Hyuk
