Pirates Of The Caribbean Producer Ready To Invite Johnny Depp To Return To Play Jack Sparrow

JAKARTA - Pirates of the Caribbean producers talked about the development of this film franchise. He last mentioned the Pirates of the Caribbean would have a reboot film that changed its first film.

Jerry Bruckheimer, the producer at the time explained that the reboot was needed so they didn't have to wait for certain actors. This answer seemed to hint at Johnny Depp who had been in controversy regarding his relationship with Amber Heard.

It turns out that Bruckheimer still wants Johnny Depp to play Jack Sparrow. He said Depp helped build the character to become unique and iconic.

"The film did reboot, if it was up to me, he (Johnny Depp) might be there," said Jerry Bruckheimer.

"I love him. He is a good friend. He is an extraordinary artist and has a unique appearance. He made Captain Jack," he said.

Bruckheimer revealed that the interpretation of several of his characters was also carried out by Johnny Depp himself. However, until now Johnny Depp has never spoken after being kicked out of the franchise.

"He did Pepé Le Pew and Keith Richards. It was his interpretation of Jack Sparrow," he said.

On the other hand, Jerry Bruckheimer also shared the latest news from the reboot version of the film. They found author Jeff Nathanson who will be the lead author of this reboot film.

Nathanson is known to be the one who wrote the last film Pirates, Dead Men Tell No Tales in 2017. They will reunite for the latest film Pirates of the Caribbean and Young Woman and the Sea.
