SAIC And Audi Confirm Will Present Electric Cars For Their Cooperation That Will Be Launched Next Year
JAKARTA - A car manufacturer from China, namely SAIC Motor Corp, signed a collaboration with Audi, a premium brand from Germany to develop smart electric vehicles.
Quoting from the CNevpost page, Tuesday, May 21, the cooperation agreement was carried out following the strategic memorandum of understanding between the two companies which was signed last July.
Based on SAIC's information, the two companies (BAIC or Audi) will combine resources to jointly develop various electric vehicles, and the first model is expected to go on sale by 2025.
Both will also accelerate development by increasing research efficiency, as well as optimizing development processes. Later new models that will be developed together will be equipped with the best hardware and software.
"With the best electrical performance in the world, as well as a smoother and user-friendly experience of intelligent interactions," SAIC said in a statement.

The company claims that Audi has a very strong model definition, vehicle development and engineering capabilities for premium models, while SAIC has the leading smart electric innovations in the automotive industry today.
As additional information, on July 26, 2023, Audi and his joint venture partners in China SAIC signed a strategic note to further deepen their cooperation that had been carried out.
Both parties will expand their electric vehicle portfolio to the premium market through joint development. Of course, it is interesting to wait for this model from Audi and SAIC.
