Losing Tens Of Billions, Kang Daniel Sues His Own Agency Shareholders
JAKARTA - Kang Daniel officially sued the agency's shareholders he founded, KONNECT Entertainment for alleged misuse of personal documents, embezzlement, breach of trust, violation of information and communication networks, and fraud.
Today, Monday, May 20, representative of Kang Daniel, Park Sung Woo as a lawyer from Firma Wooree confirmed the lawsuit that was made public.
"Our client reported to the Seoul Police on May 20 against major KONNECT Entertainment shareholders on charges including falsification of personal documents, embezzlement, breach of trust, breach of information and communication networks, and fraud," the firm said.
"As CEOs and artists who take care of the company for five years, clients make businesses for more than a year to avoid harm to employees and artists who believe in the party like family," he continued.
The attached documents contain various shareholder actions found by Kang Daniel. Starting from January 2023, Klein found a distribution contract payment signed in December 2022 using the CEO's name (Kang Daniel) without his consent.

The shareholder, who was initialized A, is also said to have withdrawn more than 2 billion won for overseas shipments without the CEO's approval or passing a shareholder meeting.
The client also found the company card used for personal gain of more than tens of millions of won, but reportedly with different numbers in expenses. It didn't stop there, they found more than 1.7 billion won withdrawn from an account without his knowledge.
