Amazon Creates A Household Robot Named Vesta
JAKARTA - Amazon has been rumored to be building a home robot called Vesta. The company founded by Jeff Bezos has recruited hundreds of employees to develop this project.
Based on a report from Business Insider, currently, Amazon already has more than 800 employees for its home robot development project. An internal company document that was leaked to the public states that Amazon Lab126 is focused on Vesta as one of their biggest hardware projects to date.
With these rumors proven, the Vesta robot is equipped with Alexa, a number of integrated cameras, a screen, and the ability to roll around someone's house. However, it is not yet known when this Amazon-made robot will be launched on the market.
This latest report reveals that the Vesta project has experienced production delays. This is thought to be due to the company's "strategy change" and the slow pace of development.
